Holy Redeemer was fortunate (thanks to Parent Council) to have Mathletes visit our school for two days of mathtastic fun. Students were engaged and the Grade 6 coaches did a fantastic job of leading their groups to each station. Well done!
Welcome to a new year and a fresh start! For the past few years, I have invited students to choose One Word that will inspire them for the year. Rather than making a resolution, they simply choose one word. This word should be meaningful and attainable- a goal or what kind of a person you want to be. Students should be able to explain why they chose that particular word and how they will try to incorporate it into their lives this year. In the past, I have chosen 'Balance', 'Unplug', 'Family' and 'Gratitude'. This year, my one word will be 'Health'. Below you will find two collaborative slide decks and a padlet for your students to use. As well, there is a padlet for students to post their #OneWord to share with others. Make sure you make a copy first! Have a wonderful New Year!
